This is a hands-on, operational role suited to people who enjoy practical work, variety, and making a real difference for customers during critical events.
About the Role
As a Restoration Technician, you will work across a range of residential, commercial, and insurance-based jobs, assisting with cleaning and restoration following fire, water, mould, storm, and other damage events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing restoration and cleaning works as scheduled
- Using equipment, machinery, and chemicals safely and correctly
- Communicating professionally with customers on-site
- Completing job reporting, documentation, and timesheets accurately
- Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and work areas to required standards
- Participating in an on-call roster for after-hours and emergency response work
- Working safely and in line with WHS policies and procedures
- This role involves physical work and may include after-hours, weekend, and emergency call-outs.
About You
You are reliable, practical, and customer-focused, with the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
You will ideally have:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- A current driver's licence, general construction induction training card (GCIT) and ability to obtain a police & working with vulnerable people checks
- Flexibility to participate in on-call and emergency work
- Experience in cleaning, restoration, trades, construction, or insurance-related work is advantageous, but not essential. Full training will be provided. However, right attitude is a must.
