About the role:

We are currently seeking a motivated Personal Care Worker to join our team in Morwell/Latrobe Valley Region on a Permanent Part Time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to our aged care clients within an in-home care setting. We are looking for dependable candidates with availability Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist clients at home with personal care tasks like showering, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and household chores.
• Support clients to stay independent by helping them go out for shopping, appointments, and community activities.
• Communicate any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
• Maintain client privacy and dignity, and encourage the same among team members and contractors
• Report consumer risks to management, including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values
• Attend regular scheduled training to maintain your level of skill

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

• Based in Morwell or the Latrobe Valley area.
• Completed Certificate III in aged care or Individual support or above.
• Current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
• Minimum 1 year Personal Care Experience working within the Aged Care Sector.
• Current Australian Driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
• Experience with Auslan
